In 2017, Kroger featured BioGreenChoice® in its Sustainability Report, recognizing the brand’s pivotal role in delivering 100% compostable, biodegradable foodservice products that help reduce plastic waste and promote eco-friendly retail solutions.

What began as a connection in 2013 grew into a trusted partnership, with BioGreenChoice® supplying over 80 sustainable SKUs made from renewable materials like sugarcane and cornstarch—products that naturally degrade within 90 days. This collaboration has supported Kroger’s sustainability goals while making environmentally responsible options more accessible nationwide.
